Dance Sport with Rocky Comprehensive Terms and Conditions





1. Non-Refundable Services: 

All purchases, including memberships and individual service fees for members and non-members, are non-refundable to ensure the sustainability and quality of our offerings.



2. Non-Transferable Membership:

Memberships and all other payment options, including Drop-In Regular Classes, Special Activities, Private Lessons, and Pass, are non-transferable. Payment details are securely stored for the duration of the membership.


3. Monthly Membership and Payment:

All memberships at Dance Sport with Rocky are billed monthly via direct debit. By signing up, members willingly enter into a rolling monthly contract, affirming their commitment to our dance community.



4. Class Punctuality:

Arrival at least 15 minutes before class start times is required to facilitate a prompt beginning and minimize disruptions.



5. Cancellation and Rescheduling of Private Lessons:

Rescheduling or cancellation must be made up to 48 hours prior to the booking. No refunds are provided for cancellations within this 48-hour window. We accept no liability for missed lessons due to unforeseeable circumstances, provided the venue and/or instructor was available.

 

6. Regular Classes Cancellation and Rescheduling:Group classes operate on a drop-in basis. Booked classes can be cancelled via the online system up to 60 minutes before the start time, with credits refunded to your Dance Sport with Rocky account for future use.

7. Force Majeure Clause:

In cases of force majeure, such as natural disasters or pandemics, Dance Sport with Rocky will not be held liable for service interruptions. Efforts will be made to provide alternative arrangements.


8. Prohibitions:

    Recording of classes without explicit permission is strictly prohibited.
    No trial classes are offered; all services require upfront payment.
    Disruptive or inappropriate behavior may result in expulsion without refund.


9. Service Provision & Consistency in Instruction:

Membership grants access to a dynamic team of instructors. While members may have instructor preferences, exposure to various teaching styles is essential for a well-rounded dance education. We commit to maintaining high-quality Ballroom and Latin dance instruction, irrespective of instructor changes.


10. Consent for Photography and Videography:

By participating in our classes and events, you grant Dance Sport with Rocky consent to use any photographs or videos featuring you for promotional purposes. This consent applies unless explicitly withdrawn verbally before filming.



11. Studio Conduct:

    Be courteous and punctual for all classes.
    Secure consent before capturing or sharing photos/videos on social media.
    Maintain cleanliness; food is allowed in the lounge area.
    Heel protectors are mandatory for high heels.
    Shoes must have clean soles within the studio.
    Professionalism is required in all interactions between teachers and students.


12. Membership Duration and Renewal:

Membership terms, including start and end dates, are clearly outlined at the time of purchase. Members are responsible for renewing their memberships to continue accessing services without interruption.
Dress Code and Conduct: Members and guests are expected to adhere to our dress code and conduct guidelines, which are designed to ensure a safe, respectful, and productive environment for all.


13. Health and Safety Compliance:

Participants must follow all health and safety instructions and guidelines issued by Dance Sport with Rocky, including any specific measures in response to public health concerns.



14. Data Protection and Privacy:

Personal information provided to Dance Sport with Rocky will be protected in accordance with GDPR. Information will only be used for service provision and communication related to our offerings.



15. Amendments to Terms:

Dance Sport with Rocky reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions. Members will be notified of any significant changes.



16. Liability Waiver:

Members participate in all activities at their own risk. Dance Sport with Rocky is not liable for any injuries or damages sustained as a result of participation, except where mandated by law.



17. Guest Policy:

Members may bring guests in accordance with our guest policy, which may include restrictions and guest fees. All guests must comply with these terms and conditions.



18. Exclusive Jurisdiction:

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of these regions.



19. Cancellation Policy:

Members wishing to cancel their membership must do so in accordance with our cancellation policy, which requires advance notice as specified at the time of membership agreement.



20. Class Scheduling and Variations:

We reserve the right to alter class schedules, including start dates, times, and instructors, to ensure effective session operation. Clients will be notified of any changes via our website.



21. Acceptance of Terms & Conditions:

Booking or attending services at Dance Sport with Rocky indicates acceptance of these Terms & Conditions. We may amend these terms at any time, with the current version on our website being applicable.



22. Right to Terminate Membership:

Dance Sport with Rocky reserves the right to terminate memberships if any part of this agreement is breached, with no eligibility for refund.



23. Final Agreement:

Your engagement with Dance Sport with Rocky, through booking or attending classes, signifies your agreement to these comprehensive terms and conditions, ensuring a respectful and enriching environment for all.
